No Man’s Sky The Next Big Game

If you’re  a Sci-fi fan and you haven’t heard about No Man’s Sky or you’re not excited about it,  I’m not sure what is wrong with you.  Honestly you may have just dropped the ball on what looks to be a game that could only be the result of a child’s fever dream.  Now if you haven’t heard, No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival in what is supposed to be an infinite procedurally generated universe. What does that mean?  Well think Minecraft or at least how the world in Minecraft loads.  Its different every time you start a new game and different for every player.  Now take that, and use those same rules to generate a universe full of planets.  No Man’s Sky follows the “If you see it you can go there” mantra, whether its a distant mountain or a planet hanging low on the horizon.  You can fly seamlessly from the surface of one planet to another, and every star in the sky is a sun that you can visit.  But like many games where you’ll go and how fast you’ll make your way through this universe is up to you!  The Sci-fi adventure is yours for the taking.  You have the opportunity to make your mark on any of the worlds in the universe and the chance to be the first OR maybe the only one to discover something.  What we know about the game so far is all the players will start on outer edge of the the galaxy with a tip that they should move towards the center of the galaxy.  But like any good Sci-fi adventure there are dangers in the universe and as you move closer to the center of the galaxy, things get more and more treacherous. Every solar system, planet, ocean and cave is filled with danger, and you are vulnerable. Your ship and suit are fragile, and every encounter from dog-fighting in space to first-person combat on a planet’s surface will test you.  Whether you want to explore and see things never before discovered, or just set course for the center of the galaxy, how you play No Man’s Sky is up to you.  The team at Hello Games said the player can be a space pirate, Trader, intergalactic botanist or bounty hunter. The choice is supposed to be yours.  However, Hello Games is staying tight lipped about multiplier and some of the games finer details but for a game whose development team just recently hit ten people It’s looking great! And If you hadn’t guessed it yet, I’m incredibly excited about it.
