In case you missed it San Diego Comic-Con turned out to be a whirlwind event for The Legend of Korra. On Wednesday, it was reported that the last five episodes of Book Three were pulled from Nickelodeon’s schedule. But who couldnt see that coming with Nickelodeon airing two episodes a week it just felt like the network was trying to dump the show as quickly a possible. Shortly thereafter, creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino reassured fans that Korra was not canceled. Rather, the rest of Book Three would be premiering digitally on Nick.com. On Friday, The Legend of Korra hit the Ballroom 20 stage, not surprisingly, Konietzko and DiMartino addressed the schedule issue first, verifying what we’d already heard. Konietzko reiterated, “The show is not canceled.” DiMartino added that Studio Mir is finishing up the animation for Book Four. Starting on August 1, The Legend of Korra will premiere one new episode a week on Nick.com until the end of Book Three.
